Exploring the depths of creativity and the impact of an intense experience at a film festival and filmmaking workshops, this article unveils the stunning insights of a passionate participant about his journey through the world of film and the discoveries made within the depths of his own soul.
"Emotions. Fear and comfort. Relatability and alienation. Happiness and despair. Can movies instill such beautiful emotions inside the audience?
I’ll start with saying that I shall use the word “movie” with the following meaning: “An idea that morphed from within one’s mind into the reality”. An idea so strong, so clear and so meaningful that it HAD to take shape. Therefore, when we watch a movie, we’re actually catching a glimpse of another’s mind. The spark of one’s imagination that transitioned into real life, a ‘trailer’ of one’s reality, a chromatic analysis of one’s very own eyes. They say, ‘The eyes are the windows of the soul”. Now, with that being said, do we realize how intimate and close we are with one movie’s creator? How much courage, how much braveness it takes to have faith that the world will, at the very least, accept one’s own very soul, if not to embrace it and cherish the vision? His very own existence, for the moment, right before your eyes, right in your hands, ready to inspire others. That’s what I realized in the IFF, that creators put their heart to inspire something in people, to share the universe that is right above their neck, and having faith in the world.
I felt the emotion they felt when shifting realities, when entering THEIR world. I am humbled, for the opportunity to have been part of this project, and grateful for having discovered what film-making and movies are truly about."

Explorând adâncimile creativității și impactul unei experiențe intense de festival de film și workshopuri de creație cinematografică, acest articol dezvăluie insight-urile uluitoare ale unui participant pasionat despre călătoria sa prin universul filmului și descoperirile făcute în adâncimile propriului său suflet.
„Emoții. Frică si siguranța. Familiar si alienare. Disperare si fericire. Oare pot simple filme sa insufle trăiri atât de frumoase în cei care le vizionează?
Voi începe prin a defini înțelesul căpătat de cuvântul “film” in cele ce urmează: “O viziune care a evadat din mintea creatorului si a fost pictata in realitate. O idee atât de clară, atât de intensă si atât de plină de înțeles, că a fost cu adevărat necesar sa prindă contur”. Astfel, când urmărim un film, începem un dialog cu mintea creatorului. In fata ochilor noștri, vedem o licărire a imaginației care a prins forma si sens in realitatea noastră, un ‘trailer’ al realității sale, o descompunere a culorilor din spatele ochilor creatorului. Se spune ca “Ochii sunt oglinda sufletului”. Ținând cont de acest lucru, oare realizam cât de multă intimitate si apropiere exista între noi si “parintele” filmului? De cât de mult curaj, de cat de multă inimă este nevoie pentru a avea credință ca lumea cel puțin îți va accepta sufletul, daca nu chiar îmbrățișă si celebra. Întreaga sa existența fragila, pentru un moment, chiar in fata ochilor noștri, in mâinile noastre, gata sa inspire, gata sa trezească Viață in fiecare dintre noi. Acestea sunt ceea ce am realizat pe parcursul Festivalului Internațional de Film. De fapt, creatorii își ‘pun pe masă’ inima, sufletul lor, pentru a inspira oamenii, pentru a împărtăși cu ei universul întrețesut deasupra umerilor, toate acestea doar având credință in Lume.
Cu adevărat, am simțit emoția pe care au simțit-o, la rândul lor, când s-au transferat dintr-o lume in alta, iar eu, intrând in lumea lor, m-am simțit pur si simplu onorat să o descopăr. A fost o adevărată ocazie sa aflu despre ceea ce este cu adevărat vorba in film-making, ocazie de care sunt recunoscător.”
