Continuing the exploration of creativity and the impact of a different experience of film festival and filmmaking workshops, this article reveals the astonishing insights of a passionate participant about his journey through the universe of film and the discoveries made through the world of film-making.
"What does film-making and storytelling represent?
The world of cinematography is like an endless realm, where ideas flow like a river, giving birth to millions of new possibilities. The only limit that can be imposed in this universe is that of choosing a single idea within a story to be told in the world of humans. However, this constraint quickly breaks down in this realm, as creativity expands quickly, and the ideas and perspectives from this universe will break through any imagined barrier. Though the words sound fantastical, any individual wishing to tell their story is surrounded by their own ideas, perceptions, and creativity, offering them thousands of possibilities to narrate a single tale. To illustrate, I would start with the expression "A picture is worth a thousand words," then move on to how a film comprises a multitude of frames, each one being a picture. Thus, we can say that each film contains not just thousands, but millions of words.
For me that would represent film-making. And the workshops I participated in represented a creative laboratory, in which I could include some ideas to create a story with thousands of words, in which I put my creativity to the test and in which together with wonderful people I created a movie.
The International Film Festival (IFF) was a place of inspiration and discovery, where each screening brought different ideas and perspectives. In addition to the screenings, I had the chance to meet different professionals in the field, who offered a piece of their experience and I believe that they provided a support to flourish future projects. Both the DBY workshops and the International Film Festival were important milestones in the film journey. This experience not only provided opportunities for learning and professional development, but also created unforgettable memories and lasting relationships between young people with this passion."

Continuând explorarea creativității și impactul unei experiențe diferite de festival de film și workshopuri de creație cinematografică, acest articol dezvăluie insight-urile uluitoare ale unui participant pasionat despre călătoria sa prin universul filmului și descoperirile făcute prin lumea film-making-ului.
„Ce reprezintă film-making și storytelling?
Lumea cinematografiei este asemenea unei lumi nesfârșite, unde ideile curg ca un râu, dând naștere la milioane de noi posibilități. Singura limită care poate fi pusă în acest univers este aceea a alegerii unei singure idei în cadrul unei povești care va fi spusă în lumea oamenilor. Totuși, această constrângere se dărâmă rapid în acest tărâm, căci creativitatea se extinde repede, iar ideile și perspectivele din acest univers vor rupe orice gard imaginat. Deși cuvintele sună fantastic, orice individ care ar vrea să își spună povestea este înconjurat de propriile idei, percepții și creativitate, care îi oferă mii de posibilități de a spune o singură poveste. Pentru a exemplifica, aș începe de la expresia „O imagine face cât o mie de cuvinte”, apoi că un film cuprinde o multitudine de cadre, fiecare fiind o imagine. Astfel, putem spune că fiecare film cuprinde nu doar mii, ci milioane de cuvinte.
Pentru mine asta ar reprezenta film-making-ul. Iar workshop-urile la care am participat au reprezentat un laborator de creație, în care am putut cuprinde câteva idei pentru a crea o poveste cu mii de cuvinte, în care mi-am pus creativitatea la încercare și în care alături de oameni minunați am creat un film.
Festivalul Internațional de Film (IFF) a fost un loc de inspirație și descoperire, unde fiecare proiecție a adus idei și perspective diferite. În plus față de proiecții, am avut șansa de a întâlni diferiți profesioniști în domeniu, care au oferit o bucată din experiența lor și consider că au oferit un sprijin pentru a înflori proiecte viitoare. Atât workshopurile DBY, cât și Festivalul Internațional de Film au reprezentat etape importante în călătoria din lumea filmului. Aceasta experiența nu numai că a oferit oportunități de învățare și dezvoltare profesională, dar a și creat amintiri de neuitat și relații durabile între tineri cu această pasiune.”
